Participants for the Ninth Summer School in Early Modern Japanese Palaeography (8-19 August 2022) are invited to apply.
The deadline is 15 January 2022.
Alongside the kuzushiji tuition, this year's session will host a hands-on workshop with a woodcutter (horishi) and a printer (surishi) from Japan together with a number of lectures on the topic of The Business of Books in Early Modern Japan.
The tuition fees for Master's students will be reduced by half, so please feel free to encourage your Master's students.
