Japanese Studies was first established in 1994 as a department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities. By 2015, the Faculty of Japanese studies officially became an independent unit. We are known as one of the high-quality centers of research and education for the Japanese language and Japan country in South Vietnam. Currently, approximately 1,000 students are studying at the Faculty of Japanese Studies.In addition to research and teaching, we also focus on developing international cooperation and building dynamic relationships with many universities, institutions, and industries in Vietnam and Japan. In the future, we will endeavor to contribute and participate in Japanese exchange programs and research projects in Vietnam and Japan.
