Center for Japanese Studies, University of Indonesia

The Center for Japanese Studies Universitas Indonesia (CJS UI) is a research institution at Universitas Indonesia specializing in Japanese studies. It was established in 1995 with the support of the Japanese government as a symbol of friendship and cooperation between Indonesia and Japan. CJS UI's mission is to promote international academic exchange in the field of Japanese studies and deepen socio-cultural understanding between Japan and Indonesia. Additionally, through various international collaborative research and activities, CJS UI aims to contribute to global Japanese studies.
