The Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo - PUC-SP, founded in 1946, is outstanding among the Brazilian universities due to the academic educational quality offered to its 23,000 students and the competence of the teaching staff - composed of more than 2,000 professors, most of them holding Ph.D. or MA degrees.
