WebSiteThe Institute for East-Asia Cultural Exchange at Korea University was established in January 2007 as an affiliate of the College of Education. Its mission is to lay the foundation for East Asian studies that contribute to balanced development in the region, while avoiding conflicts between countries, by researching cultural, social, and historical exchanges in East Asia. To achieve this goal, the Institute conducts extensive research on cultural interactions within the East Asian region and hosts a wide range of activities, including domestic and international academic symposiums, scholarly seminars, guest lectures by renowned scholars, the publication of academic journals and research books, and the development of cultural content related to East Asia. Additionally, through global research collaborations with universities and research institutions worldwide, the Institute disseminates its findings and introduces international research trends to the domestic academic community.
