The Faculty of History, Art and Area Studies of Leipzig University inviting applications for the position of Professor of Japanese Studies (full, tenured) starting date of October 1, 2022.
The successful candidate is expected to be able to connect with the existing research profiles of Japanese Studies in Leipzig and fit into the strategic research fields of Leipzig University. He/she also must demonstrate a willingness to actively participate in interdisciplinary research and teaching at the Institute of East Asian Studies and in the relevant research areas of the Research Centre Global Dynamics.
