Applications are invited for a full-time, fully-funded 4-year PhD fellowship at Ghent University. The successful candidate will work on the BOF-funded project Buddhism, Medicine, and Gender in Premodern Japan, supervised by Dr. Anna Andreeva at the Department of Languages and Cultures, at Ghent University.
The post will be tenable from Oct 1, 2021 (or as soon as possible thereafter) for four years, with a monthly net bursary of minimum ca. 2.225,51 Euro (depending on years of prior employment) and a fixed annual bench fee (subject to budget verification, covering some pre-approved expenses for fieldwork, research material, conference travel).
