Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is seeking Postdoctoral Researcher for “Aftermath of the East Asian War of 1592-1598.” The successful candidate will work on the aftermath of Toyotomi Hideyoshi’s Invasions of Korea/the Imjin War as it relates to Japan, from the perspective of one or more of the Aftermath project’s three themes: environment, technology, and society.  The working language of the project is English.

【海外求人情報】Applications are invited for a position of Curator of Japanese Objects for Freer Gallery of Art/Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, Washington, DC, United States.
The Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, which together form the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art, seek a full-time curator for Japanese objects.
The position requires a doctoral degree in Japanese art history, fluency in English as well as fluency in spoken and written Japanese appropriate to scholarly research and administrative duties, reading ability in another Asian and/or European language.
